This lesson discusses the science of astrology and how Yosef had a good Mazal. Everything he "touched turned to gold." This is how G-d was with him.

The most ancient Biblical commentary states that Potipher purchased Yosef with homosexual intent. Yet, nothing came of his advances. Soon he discovered that Yosef was more than just another "pretty face."

Even when Potipher's wife tried to seduce Yosef, the Higher Hand was with him. Instead of death he was sent to the best of prisons in Egypt, more so to protect him than to harm him. As we see, even in prison Yosef prospered.

This lesson tells us how we are to deal with bad people and bad circumstances and mantian ourselves being good. This is doing what is right and the true meaning of righteousness.
