For those of you who want to do something Kabbalistic and not just learn about it, this is the lecture you have been waiting for. This special lecture will teach you how to use actual Kabbalistic kavanot from the Ari'zal and Rashash. The purpose of these kavanot meditations is to open one's soul to receiving the spirit of kedusha (holiness) from Heaven and to purify oneself as we approach Rosh HaShana. One additional kavanah meditation is added to enable one to influence another to do teshuva. The three kavanot covered are called: 1. The Yihud Vavin, where we draw down G-d's Divine Light through the sefirot to radiate ourselves enabling us to have deeper understanding of the secrets of Torah. 2. The Yihud L'Alafim, where we visualize those Holy Names that represent the attributes of mercy and enable them to neutralize those Holy Names that represent the attributes of judgement. 3. The Yihud to enable one to return to G-d (teshuva), this is performed by knitting together of Holy Names and vowels.
