Zones 2-10, Sun/Shade, Moist, Ht. 2-5 ft, Wd. 2-5 ft.

Fronds are 2-5', though sometimes to 10', long, erect, deciduous. Easy to grow. It is typically found in swamps and other wet sites in eastern North America. This family of ferns does well in the typical garden in both sun and shade. Hummingbirds have been found to collect the fronds for their nests.
