Unless otherwise specified these items are Basswood and the grain runs in the long direction. We strive to minimize the amount of glue joints on each board. Boards under 10 inches wide will have no glue joints. Boards over 10 inches may have a glue joint depending on the availabilty of stock. Given sizes are actuals except for 3/4 inch boards, which can range in thickness from 3/4 to 7/8 inch. We prefer to use boards 1 inch thick or greater for relief carving, whereas the 3/4 inch boards are great for woodburning or other projects.
