Detail King features an excellent selection of professional rotary car polishers and high speed car buffers, orbital polishers and dual action polishers. The difference between a buffer and polisher is that a rotary buffer rotates the head of the buffer through revolutions. These revolutions are circular and are called RPM's; revolutions per minute. Most quality high speed rotary buffers are variable speed meaning you can adjust the speed anywhere from 0-3000 RPM's. Rotary buffers are usually used with "paint leveler" products to remove imperfections like repairable medium to deep scratches, wet sanding micro scratches, spider web swirls, paint oxidation, water spotting, and orange peel markings. Without practice and proper training it is possible to cause damage to painted surfaces with a high speed rotary buffer. We offer hands-on training courses, both private group training, and training at our weekend seminar workshops. Check out our Makita, Dewalt, and Milwaukee high speed rotary buffers on this page. We also offer random orbital polishers. These polishers are a great way to apply your final coat of protection to a painted cars surface. Our polishers can also be used to correct very minor repairable imperfections in the paint. Orbital polishers will not "level out" deep scratches in the paint but only fill those scratches in with polish or glaze. With the correct pad and polishing compound light scratches can be removed with certain orbital polishers. Every professional detailer needs an orbital polisher to offer basic polishing and sealing services for vehicles that do not need more aggressive paint correction that a high speed rotary buffer would provide. We now are introducing our new Flex XC3401VRG - a true dual-action polisher! Be sure to read the description of this new hi-tech polisher and try it out if you dare! It's awesome......
