Auto Detailing Towels
All of the Auto Detailing Towels that Detail King offers are of the highest quality. To avoid your towels getting contaminated they should be washed seperatley. Towels that are to be used for cleaning windows (Hucks & Microfiber Window Towels) should not be washed with the other towels. Microfiber towels should all be washed seperatley and dried seperatley. Microfibers are super absorbant and when cleaned & dried with other towels will pick up excessive lint.
Never wash the towels you used to remove wax or to detail door jambs or engines with your window towels. The wax and grease will contaminate your window towels and cause smears. Use a detergent soap that does not contain bleach or fabric softener. Bleach will cause lint to be released from the towels and fabric softener will make them less absorbant. We offer an awesome liquid detergent soap that can be used to wash all of your detailing towels. It is called Micro-Klean.
After your towels have been washed run them through another cycle just with a cup of vinegar. The vinegar will "season" the towles and release excess lint and even make them more absorbant. You should do this at least once a week especially if you detail every day and use your towels a lot.
We now have a huge selection of our best microfiber towel offering ever. Our newest super plush microfiber towels have a silk edge to keep the towel from fraying. One side of the towel has a higher fiber pile for cleaning. The opposite side the fibers are shorter for polishing purposes.
