Edge Foam & 3M Wool Buffing Pads & Polishing Pads For Makita, Flex & Dewalt Rotary Buffers & Polishers Detail King features an awesome selection of buffing pads and polishing pads for Makita, Dewalt, & Milwaukee rotary buffers and polishers. We have been offering Edge Foam Pads for years. We now offer 3M Wool Buffing Pads for the base coat/clear coat paint systems. We also offer the new Edge 2000 Double Sided Wave Pads by 3M. Edge Wave 2000 Premium Buffing System by 3M includes convoluted-faced buffing pads. The Edge 2000 Wave pads resist "hopping" that may occur when flat-surface pads dry out. They also allow air to circulate, cooling the surface. The Edge 8" 2000 Wave Double Sided Pads will also reduce splattering of chemicals and fluids. Top quality reticulated polyester foam outlasts competing pads. The famous Edge bevel design allows you to reach tight areas with a high-speed buffer. These are the only convoluted pads with the Edge 2000 double-sided format. Work with less binding, crouching, etc... and there's no backing plate to damage the car. The Edge 2000 adapter enables you to snap pads on and off instantly and center them perfectly every time. Just flip these pads over when the opposite side wears down. This saves money by not having to purchase single sided pads. We now offer the Lake Country 4" CCS Foam Pads for spot polishing and buffing. Lake Country's CCS 4 inch Foam Pads are flat full contact buffing pads that work with your rotary polisher, dual-action polisher or electric drill to correct problem areas in automotive paint more easily than ever before. The smaller polishing surface means you are only attacking the blemish, not the surrounding paint. Scratches and oxidation often occur in particular spots on your vehicle. Rarely is your whole vehicle covered in blemishes. If the majority of your vehicle looks like new, there is no need to compound the whole vehicle. In fact you might create swirls if you use an overly abrasive pad on perfectly good paint. With spot buffing and polishing you are only addressing the problem, not creating more. CCS stands for Collapsed Cell Structure. The face of a CCS pad is covered in strategically placed pockets. These pockets are locations where the foam cells have been closed. Polish does not absorb into these closed cell pockets, leaving more product on the pad's surface and on the paint. This polish-saving design gives polishes a longer working time, which results in more successful detailing. All of our buffing and polishing pads feature Velcro® brand hook & loop fasteners to secure the pad to the backing plate.
