These new 4 inch foam pads are made with Cyclo's unique foam compositions plus has the patented Quick Change Adapter System of the new Edge 2000 Foam Wave Pads! These 4 inch foam pads are double sided - just flip it over and use the other side! These pads use the same self centering design as the Edge adapter. Just use your 3/4 inch wrench to tighten the adapters into the Cyclo Polisher, then snap two of the Cyclo 4 inch pads in place and your ready to polish!
Vibration is virtually eliminated! These pads are so well balanced using the Edge Adapter any vibration is basically gone. The DoublePrecision Pads sit closer to the polisher housing than the regular Cyclo pads and have no wobbly components between the pads and the polisher. The adapter holds the pads perfectly level, regardless of the motion of the buffer. You will love the way the Cyclo just glides across the paint!
With this new system there is minimal risk of striking the paint. The Quick Change System eliminates the rubber boots (pad holders) and the two orbiting heads. There is nothing surrounding the pads so there is nothing to impact the paint. If you are buffing a tight area there is no worry about any rubber boot accidentally marking a body panel.
The Quick Change Adapter is a solid-brass center post that screws into the Cyclo and enables the pads to be easily snapped off and on in seconds. The adapter makes the pads self-centering, so you will never have to deal with off-balanced pads again.
A very durable plastic internal plate enables the DoublePrecision pads to keep their shape. These pads will never warp like conventional pads. These will last longer!! One full inch of foam on each side of the plastic insert plate keeps it well protected against contact with the paint.
