Originally from Italy, Picnic Time's creators, Mario Tagliati and Gustavo Cosaro, have long been aficionados of good food, good wine, and good company. For over twenty-six years, they have made it their business to inspire others to get out and enjoy life.
As former owners of a successful gourmet and wine store that was famous for its holiday gift baskets, Mario and Gustavo sought to create a unique line of gifts that could be sold year-round. They introduced a series of traditional high-quality picnic baskets in 1982 and before long, other retailers were clamoring to purchase wholesale baskets for their own stores. Picnic Time was born!
In 1987, they created the world's first insulated picnic backpack and have continued to pioneer the most innovative picnic products ever since. Picnic Time now offers over 400 exciting products in many categories such as entertaining, executive gifts, wine accessories, barbecue, beach, and outdoor furniture. |
