You never need to repalce the battery, becuase you do not need a battery with the "New Controllor Chip. It has its own non-volatile memory. This unit is very dependable and will last for many years. You must send in your exchange computer first, include both the top & bottom covers when sending it in. Once we receive it in we will then send you out a Rebuilt replacement computer the next day.
