All of our "Rebuilt Computers come with a "New Controller Processor Chip. You never need to replace the battery, because you do not need a battery with the the "New Controller Chip. It has its own non-volatile memory. This unit is very dependable and will last for many years. You must send in your exchange computer first, include both the top and bottom covers when sending it in. We will send out a Rebuilt replcement computer the next day. Comes with a 90-day warranty.
